Taryn + Waz Wedding
Simple, elegant and intimate would be the words I’d choose to describe Taryn and Waz’s wedding. A day that truly celebrated their love and commitment to each other.
Summer was just about to arrive and it was a fine Saturday to get married. I picked up my coffee and headed towards the leafy streets of Geelong. I had met Taryn and Waz a few months ago for a pre wedding shoot and they were so much fun to be around. Taryn was so relaxed and easy going and it didn’t take long to see that Waz absolutely adored her. I was really exited to meet them both again and celebrate together on their wedding day.
I arrived at their address to find Waz and a couple of his mates suited up watching the cricket. Waz was the most relaxed groom I’ve seen, chilling on the couch as cool as a cucumber. We headed out and did a lap of the block, casually taking a few shots along the way and chatting with the neighbours. I left the lads back to the game of cricket and headed a few streets away to find Taryn at her parents home.
She was stunning, a hive of excitement that could only be controlled with champagne. She was eager to get this show on the road so with the help of her finest the beautiful dress was buttoned up and she looked amazing, ready to make her entrance.
The wedding was held at the Little Creatures brewery and the historic old brewery was glowing in the afternoon sun. All the family and friends had gathered inside and I could see Waz beginning to pace around the arbour checking his watch. But Taryn was only meters away and it wasn’t long before the door was opened and Taryn made her entrance, together with her dad she walked down a beautiful woven rug and made her way past her dearest friends to met the person she loved most. So, together under the roof of the old Geelong brewery Taryn and Waz were pronounced Husband and Wife.
